Man Steals N104,000 Phones With Rope In Lagos

okuoimose stated the accused stole the complainant’s phones via the window.

“the complainant known as the telephones several times but the accused refused to select and he referred to as one of the telephones numerous days later and a lady picked it and instructed him that the owner become no longer round.

“the complainant told the lady to present him her personal variety in case he calls the owner’s wide variety and it isn’t going through he can call her and that he has an important message for the owner of the phone,” he said.

“the lady gave the complainant her quantity and that brought about the arrest of the accused.”

however, the accused who later confessed to the crime, attributed it to the handiwork of the devil as he pleaded for mercy.

the offence contravened phase 287 of the crook regulation of lagos kingdom, 2015 which prescribes 3 years jail term as penalty.

the magistrate has fixed jan. 10 for sentence.
